I have bought a LG monitor from PC world. It's was on of their display moniters that was up for sale for cheap but it doesn't have any cables with it. So what are the names of the cables I need to buy? I no i need a power one a blue one and a white one just don't no the names.

when did you buy it, take it back and tell them they have forgotten to give you the cables. or was it made to be a display model hence no cables?

you need a blue one and a white one!!!! thanks! that made me laugh!!

You'll need a VGA cable and a Power cable.

VGAs are generally blue.. but I dont follow with the white?? What are you connecting to beside the CPU?

The cable with white plugs is a DVI cable. You do not need all three. You obviously need the power cable and either VGA or DVI depending on the output from your graphics card. If it has both use the DVI.

Yeah DaveyK it was a display model.

I stole my sisters blue cable (VGA) and it worked as I already have a power cable with my old monitor but its so old it connect with an orange cable that does come out the monitor. The reason I said white cable is because my sister computer has a white one too and power one but her computer was built from a guy with a shop so maybe he put a wrong one in?

Got my VGA and power cables today from Maplin and the monitor is working fine. So thanks for your help.
