Default Which manufacturer?

Finally come to the conclusion that I'm going to purchase the geforce 8800 gtx card, just wondered which manufacturer you guys would recommend I go for: XFX BFG Gigabyte Evga Asus... etc.?...

I would probably go with Evga, they offer a lifetime warranty and have a decent step-up program were you can trade in your old card with them for a newer model some time in the future if you like!

Depends on the spec, some manufacturers make faster versions of the same GPU card.

For example an EVGA 8800GT may be faster than a XFX 8800GT.

SocialWarfare is correct - unless the others have a much higher clock speed, go with EVGA.

I wouldn't say that the clock speeds would vary that much anyhow, no more than a bit of manual overclocking would do to achieve the same
