Hi all I'm new here. I just got a new graphics card and everything seemed to be working fine. I then try to play a mkv file with medai player classic and then I get the blue screen of death and physical memory dump and all that bad stuff. I tried again later and it was no fluke. I had no problems playing mkv files before, and I dont really know enough about computers to figure out why this would happen. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

| Is it just one mkv file causing this or have you tried others?

It happened twice with one file that I had been able to open before, but the problem is worse than I thought now. Now it has happened with 2 different jpeg files. I suck. Also, I can open other types of video files fine.

Have you got the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Aww damn dude just before I posted this I browsed the CD, and when it installed the drivers I guess it didn't do the ones for vista. So I posted before I tried another file cause I didnt feel like restarting my comp, but it works now. Thanks for taking the time.
