Everyone has different ways to clean there tft and my way is a cheap and fast solution and as far as i can see its done nothing but clean my screen.
I don't think cewy was directly telling you your method was wrong, but merely warning you and other users of the risk(s) involved with using soap and water together.

gazmondo thanks for your say , you just reminded me , the method i use is really just a quick fix if your screen gets smudged or dirty/dusty on a weekly bases then i would strongly discourage people from using my method but i only use it as my tft gets dirty or smudged on a monthly basis sometimes 3 months before it needs a clean but like i said if your screen gets dirty pretty fast then don't use soapy water , there you go ^_^
