Yes, hello everyone, well, my problem is simple, i have a clone desktop, an when i turn the desktop on, the monitor doesn't start( it doesn't appear anything at all) it's like the computer was off all the time, but it is not, what could be the problem? thanxs

that nothing appear at the screen (monitor) when i turn on the computer, it is like the monitor is turn off but is on

Does the computer have a separate video card (i.e. is the hookup for the monitor near all the other ports like for keyboard, mouse, etc, or farther down in the tower)?

yes is integrated, I connect the monitor to a 15 pin on the back of the computer

Hmm. Other than checking connectors, I'm stumped.

This will happen if the monitor is fine and just not getting a signal, it'll think it's in standby mode. Got another computer to check it out with?

Also, I assume fans and everything are spinning?

Does the little light on the front of the monitor light up when you press the power button on the monitor? if so, what colour does it go?
