Default Monitor Annoyance Help Please !

Basically there's an inch thick line down the right side of my monitor , its as if someones adjusted the screen positioning and i see no way how to do that or fix it as I'm using a laptop there's no buttons allowing me to fix it like there is on standard monitors for desktops I'm baffled.
