Hey all, a friend of mine is close to pulling his hair out.
The reason being is, his monitor turns of at random times, he could be working on it and all of a sudden the monitor goes turns of. Now this may be 10 minutes ofter hes booted or 4 hours, it varys each time. He said all the lights on the monitor , and on the tower remains the same but the screen just turns of? hes tried both vga and dvi cables , 3 different types of monitors , 3 different g cards, 2 different hd's ,cleaning the tower, and every maintenece check under the sun.
We've both ran countless virus scans and all resualts came up clean. All i can think of now is to flash the bios and if that fails maybe look into getting hold of another mobo?

Do you have a spare PSU?

If there's a bad +12V all your video cards could be having problems and not outputting a signal.
