Hello all. I purchased my first new system 4 months ago with little to no problems so far. But lately when I return home, I can't see my desktop background due to these colored, bouncy lines all over the screen... I have to manually turn computer off, and then it all works fine for awhile. could having a 6 channel mixer next to the monitor be the cause this? Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Knowing what kind of monitor would help.

Magnets mess with monitors, so, move any speakers away, not sure if a mixer would cause it but try moving it anyway.
