HEY GUYS ! DO YOU THINK 450W SERVER POWER UNIT WILL BE ENOUGH FOR MSI N9800gt ? IT DOENT NEED AN EXTRA 6 PIN POWER CABLE.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS CARD ?

HELP ME OUT.

I think it depends on a lot more information than you have posted such as the actual model of the power supply

Casecom seem to be budget. It might well work but can't say for how long before it goes *poof* and you've ruined some hardware, look into a better PSU.

Hey msi n9800 doent need an extra 6 pin power cable. You think its impossible to work

It will work but the Power supply is a budget one and unreliable. It will probably break under the stress of running the graphics card.

okay then what are you guys saying ? should i go for the msi 9800gt or not ? But the shop manager said that ill work.

i got 2 hard drives working. 1 dvd rom woking. now im using 7100gs card.

please help.

You can get the graphics card and it will work but the PSU should also be upgraded. the 9800GT is a pretty demanding card in terms of power. It's worth getting a good, brand name power supply of about 400-500 watts.

Thanks for the support people. By the way I just checked put the nvidia site. They say that 400w power unit is enough. Anyway really appreciate your ideas. Keep up the good work people.
