Hi everyone, My GeForce 6200 PCI recently wont display my resolution by setting itself at 640 x 480 and a 4bit colour, then few days later it didnt work. I recently also replaced the RAM, well i kinda swapped RAM with my other PC. But i worked fine for a few weeks until now. I've tried the card on another PCI Slot but it wouldnt work. I'm more than positive that the slot is working and the card looks fine outside. The stupid GMA 900 is stressing me out !!! so is my card blown ? the GMA 900 is soooo bad, it struggle to run Guild Wars !!!

It sounds like a driver problem to me, I assume you have a built in graphics card that still works ok?

Also, what ram did you fit? Was it the correct type and speed?

Personally I'd try reinstalling your drivers. I also have a 6200.
What OS are you using?

Windows XP driver (32 bit):
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...glish_whql.exe

Windows Vista (32 bit):
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvist...8.24_whql.html

Windows Vista (64 bit):
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...glish_whql.exe

Also what output do you use on your card? vga\svideo\dvi? You may experience some problems with those drivers if you use the dvi out(I did) and you may require an older driver (I did) which I can supply you with if required.

well i'm soo sorry for late reply. since it been xmas and new year, I've been kept soo busy and forgot about the thread. Its been proven that the 6200 still works, cos' its fine on my PC but I can't swap my 7600GT for it, cos' the other PC don't have a AGP slot only PCI :@ I dont know what i'm goin to do now, maybe sell the card to my friend or by any chance could ram interfere (if i spelt it right) with the Graphics card ? I notice it might have a faulty ram because for 512Mb and XP its slow, and I can't installed Combat Arms without this memory address error. Well thx for your replies, but anymore would be appreciated :D
