I just bought a new Corsair VX550W PSU. When i tried to turn on the comp it made a long high pitched beep. Then i realized that I didnt connect the PCI-E to the video card (8800 GT). After connecting the PCI-E, the computer wouldnt turn on at all. Now Im using my old graphics card (8400GS) and everything is fine. Is there a problem with my 8800 GT???

Minimum power supply for 8800GT is approx 400W and 22 Amps on the +12V rail.So i guess you are ok there.
You didnt go and plug the cards power in when the comp was on did you?
