My computer shuts down when i play games!

Hi there!

After a while of playing (about 1 minute) the screen shows a "no signal input" message. My guess is that is has something to do with the graphics card. I know its not because of overheating (the load temperature reaches a max of 60/140 degrees celsius/fahrenheit. I have downloaded the latest drivers. If I look in the computer log it shows the following message: Error code 10000050, parameter1 ffd1558b, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 f739adeb, parameter4 00000000. When I restart the computer after the crash it says: "Windows has been restored after a serious problem" or similar to that.

I've tried the most things i came to think of: Reinstalled Windows, drivers to the graphics card, cleared the cmos, updated BIOS, it's not overheating, the power supply isn't to weak and probably something more.

Any ideas what might be wrong and how to solve it?

By the way, it's a Sapphire Radeon x1950 pro 256 mb graphics card.

Oh and one more thing worth writing is that I've recently changed computer chassis and the graphics cooler. Could something have happened while i was moving all the components to the new chassis? (I've been very carefull with static electrisity)

It's all kind of games such as: Counter-Strike Source, Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R, Colin McRae Dirt, Test Drive Unlimited, Flatout 2, Oblivion, Guild Wars, Far Cry, Doom 3, Battlefield 2, so i guess it's all games not just some specific.

When you changed the graphics cooler, did you remove the original and fit a new one in its place?

If so, did you ues thermal paste or one of those horrible pads?

Yes i removed the old cooler and replaced it with the new cooler. Yes i used thermal paste. If you think it's because of overheating, it's not :P Since i changed the cooler the temperature has been halved (spelling/grammar? :P) and before, when the temperature was way higher, i didn't have this problem.

Click start, then run, and type dxdiag. See if all the tests for your graphics run.

Just did the tests. All tests came up with "no problem was found" and "all the tests were succesful"
