turn back on? sometimes when I leave my laptop alone and come back an hour later, when I move the mouse the screen won't come back on and it doesn't respond at all. then I have to pull the plug on it, which I hate doing. Its power scheme is 'always on' and 'turn monitor off after 20 minutes' and the hard disk is never supposed to turn off. so why is this happening and how do I fix it?yes hibernation is enabled but that's a totally different matter...the problem I have is to do with the monitor turning off (not like hibernation) and not turning on again

Do you have "hibernation" enabled? It's under "power options" click the "Hibernate" tab and see if it's enabled.
