Does it have speakers built in?

If not, stop using it.

EDIT:

I Just googled it, it's a CRT with no speakers correct?

STOP USING IT STRAIGHT AWAY.

My very last CRT did this for a while then it suddenly did a wierd combination of imploding and exploding, I ten to call it ploding

Seriously stop using it now, and save the risk to other electrical equipment and risk of fire. Also you don't have to clean up if you stop now.

Just unplug it put it in a bin bag and take it to a dump. The buy yourself a lovely LCD flat panel.

You'll be much happier.
