Default Need help with Samsung 2232BW

I have been using this monitor for about a month now with no problems with my Dell machine. It seems to work fine with a pc. (I have no complaints atleast)

However, I recently bought a VDIGI VD-W2 cable:

So I can play my Wii through my monitor. The pc is plugged into the DVI slot on the monitor and the Wii into the VGA slot (at the same time). The image seems very poor though on the Wii and I think this is due to the resolution of the monitor. It does not affect the quality of the PC image. I am using the "source" button on the bottom of the monitor to switch between the two inputs.

I wondered if anyone knew a way to set up the monitor so I could have the DVI display in standard mode and the VGA display in 640 x 480 @ 60fps because this is the maximum output resolution for the VD-W2 cable.

Help is very much appreciated.

If anyone can think of any other solutions then that would also be appreciated.

Thankyou.
