Or connect your xbox via vga using the cable you can purchase for around a tenner.

Samsung 206bw if wanting 1680x1050

Samsung 245b if wanting 1920x1200 (I'd go for this resolution considering the card you've got Cewy or otherwise the performance of your card is wasted).

Or if you want a superb 24" 1920x1200 monitor, that should just be within budget, then go for the Dell 2407WFP (if you can get one). Simply superb.

1960x1200??

Typo?

Anyway. I've no personal experience of the Samsung so can't advise you buy it but do what you always do and read reviews.

The Dell quotes 16.7m colours so should provide 92% coverage if the 2407 is anything to go by. Plus, as the Dell is a 24" and ths 'Sung is a 26" and they've both the same amount of pixels I'd go for the Dell because the pixels are that bit smaller so you should require less AA in a game. Dell is also the only company I know of that put's out consistently good screens across size's and price's.

It just means that as it quotes 16.7m colours (If I remember correctly this is 8bit) it should be able to provide, on screen, 92% of these colours making images that much more vibrant. Dell quote this as 'Truelife' (it's just a manufacturers label for the technology).
