I think brand loyalty is about the stupidest thing on the planet, essentially disregarding benchmarks over a company's name, but the option should nonetheless be presented. If the OP wants to ignore higher performance options for his money then that's his fault, but at least all choices should be submitted.

lmao, i really do apresiate your time carbon, and thank you for helping me with this aswell as other queries before hand :P
But come on... i have a 3 way SLI board, ppl are going to hit me if i buy 1 ati card. =D but serioursly thank you very much. I Think im going for the 9800GT will i c much more improvment from the 9600GT? If i will please stop me soon!!!! i have no pc atm and withdrawal symptoms are kicking in. If it's only a tiny difference in price, go ahead, but you won't see much of a difference. I only recommend the 8800GT a lot because here it's like $10 more than a 9600gt.

hmmm, i think i have my heart set on the 9800 GT, scene as its not my money :) parents are paying. my brithday prezzy for the 4th =D
So 9800 GT it is =D!! free delivery as well :) thank you all so much for your help, you guys are the best. im not goign to buy it yet. tomoorow. so im still watch the post incase anyone comes up with... Wow, it's only $279 on newegg, what's that about 140 pounds (don't know where the money pound key is lol)? They even offer it with a 550 Antec power supply for $314 (157 pounds?).

OMG!!!! NOOOOO, im KICKING mySELF!!!
:(:(:( just looked on overclockers now i have my BFG 9800GT 512 version in!!! and i see Gainward 9800GT 1024mb Version!!!!! dam it!!!! and its only £15 more what should i do? take the 512 back to ebuyer and buy the 1024 version or stick with what i brought and be happy, it will play what i wont. |
