Fresh off the burner comes the 8800 GT 512mb GPU. I thought I would post this here just in case everyone does not know about it yet.

From reviews it is the best bang for your buck on the market period. Even better bang for buck then the 2900 pro. It performs only SLIGHTLY less powerful then the 8800 GTX and that is it un overclocked. Plus it easily outperforms the 8800 gts 640 mb and ranges from prices of $240.00 US- $280.00 US.

Basically for that price you can buy two of these sli them and still save money over just one GTX while having much better performance due to sli. Two links. One to a review and another to the product itself being sold now.

http://forums.vr-zone.com/showthread.php?t=197629 Note the review is on a forum translated into English from the Japan sight that originally reviewed it. There are currently no other reviews for it being that it just came out. Though that will change soon.

http://www.ncixus.com/products/26780/PVT88PYDF4/XFX/ being sold almost everywhere. This is the price I have found to be the cheapest in US.

Just thought this should be posted. Enjoy.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that these graphics cards are the first in the world to support PCI Express 2.0 which is a performance boost to put it simply. This is backwards compatible with older motherboards also.

i really dont understand how the GT can be better than the GTS.

stock it has higher clocks. and a better texture fill rate. thhe 8800gts has a 320bit memory interface, but the GT has 256bit. the 8800gt has a lower memory bandwidth than the 8800gts.

i dont understand lol.

Hard choice to be frank Necro. The GT has also got 16 (I think) more stream shaders. Both around the same price as well.
