I want a good card for under £100 that could run MTW2 and FSX well on high graphics settings. ( MTW2 is currently is very jumpy on the battles.) I dont want to have to upgrade anything else in my computer such as psu. my computer is HP - Compaq Presario SR1619UK. Anyone help?

Default New graphics card help

Hi Max.

Firstly, you're going to need to double the ram in your pc. 512mb is not nearly enough to run XP and game, especially on FSX. You want another 512mb DDR400 CL3 ram.

As you're running at 1280x1024 resolution (and you need an AGP card) I'd recommend a 7600gs. I'd recommend a higher spec'd card but you'll probably come a cropper as your psu doesn't offer enough wattage and amps and also doesn't have the 6 pin pci-e connector for more powerful cards. And as you state, you don't want to change anything else.

This card is also a good balance for the cpu you have.

Clicky

Don't forget to disable the onboard graphics upon installation.

No problem. Post back if you require anything else, or to let us know how you've got on.
