| There is also one more factor ! the notebook saves the power in vista by not providing full power to the CPU !! so choose the settings for optimum performance and then do the benchmark test again . |

| Good point, also make sure it's plugged into the mains when doing the test, again if it isn't the laptop will be running on lower power.

| Yes plugging into mains is a good idea cause your notebook will really use all the juice in the backup battery . So make sure that you don't use too much power when playing without any power source nearby . |

| Get back to us with your results dude, and as suggested, we can manage a little competition here. Also, i would like to ask fellow members, if laptops and desktops carry out much of a difference over such tests?? Any ideas? |
