| Hi beetee Are you having any problems with your computer at the moment? This would help to diagnose the problems. The PCI Bridge entry is probably not worth worrying about too much unless something on your computer is not actually working. It could be any number of things. From the description you give about the motherboard it would appear that you do not have a graphics card. This is a picture of a graphics card ![]() And another showing a graphics card and another PCI card installed on the motherboard. ![]() Admittantly not a very good picture but it does give you an idea of what it looks like. If your monitor connector plugs into the motherboard then you definitely have onboard video. Post back a reply to my earlier questions and I will be able to advise you what to do from there.

| Serverguy, I am having no problem with my computer, its just when I got it built,I was told that it would have the capacity to run 2 monitor from it at once.As I really need to run 2 monitors at the min,I was looking into graphics cards etc,and I thought the yellow question marks in device manager were something to do with it Therefore I have posted on the forum, but as you see I know just about zilch how these machines work. Anyway, after looking again,I dont think there is a graphics card in the machine. Thanks Brian |

| That is good that you are not having any problems. To run two monitors you are going to need to have a graphics card with dual outputs, that is one that has connectors for two monitors. Many cards have this as standard. If you want I can give you some links to some suitable ones. I am curious though why you were told that you could run two monitors of this computer. Can you see any other monitor connectors on the back? I suggest you ignore both driver errors that Device Manager is showing. The PCI Bridge one is a bit of a red heron to track down. It could point to a number of things, but the normal way of sorting it would have been to update the motherboard drivers. You say you have already done this and as you are having no other problems I suggest you leave it. The one about the Video Controller is strange too because it would suggest that you do have a video card. But then it could be relating to onboard graphics on the motherboard but if you have updated the drivers for the motherboard already and the monitor is fine otherwise then I would leave it. None of the errors are serious and will not affect the running of your computer. I suggest you give the guy you brought it off and ask him the same questions about whether it has a graphics card and about the dual monitors etc. He might be able to shed some light on it. I hope this of some help to you.

| Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I wouldnt mind a few links for suitable cards for dual monitors. There is currently only one monitor socket(blue)and another pink(longer socket). I tried contacting the original vendor prior to posting here but to no avail. It seems I may have been blinded with science when purchasing a 'bespoke machine'. Cheers for all the help |

| I see no reason for him to have to figure out the mobo - if he needs a new gfx card, all he has to do is look for a physical PCI-E slot.

You can pretty much get anything, if you're not a gamer. Most if not all new cards have dual outputs. Try a 8500 or something. My System: 日夏子

| Maybe something like this: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s....html?NOV-86GT I agree, there is no reason to go delving around inside your PC Case trying to determine the type of motherboard you have. But it would be important to check that you have a PCI-E slot. If you are not sure of your ability to install a new graphics card I suggest you get a professional to do it for you. But saying that it is not hard to do yourself.
