| That is good that you are not having any problems. To run two monitors you are going to need to have a graphics card with dual outputs, that is one that has connectors for two monitors. Many cards have this as standard. If you want I can give you some links to some suitable ones. I am curious though why you were told that you could run two monitors of this computer. Can you see any other monitor connectors on the back? I suggest you ignore both driver errors that Device Manager is showing. The PCI Bridge one is a bit of a red heron to track down. It could point to a number of things, but the normal way of sorting it would have been to update the motherboard drivers. You say you have already done this and as you are having no other problems I suggest you leave it. The one about the Video Controller is strange too because it would suggest that you do have a video card. But then it could be relating to onboard graphics on the motherboard but if you have updated the drivers for the motherboard already and the monitor is fine otherwise then I would leave it. None of the errors are serious and will not affect the running of your computer. I suggest you give the guy you brought it off and ask him the same questions about whether it has a graphics card and about the dual monitors etc. He might be able to shed some light on it. I hope this of some help to you.

| Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I wouldnt mind a few links for suitable cards for dual monitors. There is currently only one monitor socket(blue)and another pink(longer socket). I tried contacting the original vendor prior to posting here but to no avail. It seems I may have been blinded with science when purchasing a 'bespoke machine'. Cheers for all the help |

| I see no reason for him to have to figure out the mobo - if he needs a new gfx card, all he has to do is look for a physical PCI-E slot.

| Maybe something like this: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s....html?NOV-86GT I agree, there is no reason to go delving around inside your PC Case trying to determine the type of motherboard you have. But it would be important to check that you have a PCI-E slot. If you are not sure of your ability to install a new graphics card I suggest you get a professional to do it for you. But saying that it is not hard to do yourself.

| As a matter of interest, how old is this PC, because the spec is quite dated.

| Yikes Was this PC new? That is a very cheap board, worth about £30. As Philtomas said it has no graphics card. You could add a PCI Express Graphics card though.

| I am fairly certain your motherboard was the one Philthomas linked to this one It is not so bad if it is 18 moths old. I got the impression you had just brought it. Have you got any other problems with it except for the error messages that you can ignore?

| I see by all your shocked responses ,I have been had big time. System originally purchased with an A3 printer for £1250. and then charged a further £300 for a supposed uprade. That what I get I suppose for not knowing what I was buying and putting my trust in the vendor. brian |

| The NVIDIA graphics are just the ones built into the motherboard. If you get a separate graphics card the job of producing the graphics gets taken away from the motherboard and given to the graphics card. I think that you have been ripped off. What exactly did they upgrade...... for £300? And I don't think that PC was ever worth £1250.... no way.
