Default No Signal and 8beeps on 2 x 9800gt sli cards

Specs
N7AD SLI MOBO Quad core cpu
650psu
6meg ram
3 monitors 2x15 1x17

windows xp pro 32bit OS

2 x geforce 9800 gt 1gig ddr3 graphics cards

slotted them in and booted up and got no signal and 8 beeps, took one out and got the same, then realised i may have not turned the xfire card around, so did that put both cards back in and same thing happened, no signal and 8 beeps

these dont require independant power supplies as there are no outlets or leads for this feature, followed

Not wanting to go any further risking damage of any kind, reinstalled old cards to come on here and obviously works fine although i had 3 freeze ups trying to get online....

any suggestuions???? there is an sli bridge that i have not yet tried, but if its not working with one and obviously i didnt want to try with 2 cards and bridge

are you sure they dont require a 6pin PCI-E power input from your PSU? the photos ive just googled seem to have them.

Yeah, you're not going to be able to draw that much power through the PCI-E bus I don't think.
