Hey all, I have an ATI Radeon X300 SE graphics card (it came with the pc), with 128 MB video memory. It has been working fine until a few months ago, when the computer stopped recognising any video memory.
Several games, like GTA Vice City, stopped working, stating the video memory as the reason.

This is what 3DMark 2001 had to say about it:

Description: Primary Display Driver
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Name: ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
Total Local Video Memory: 0 bytes
Total Local Texture Memory: 0 bytes
Total AGP Memory: 0 bytes

Display Driver: ati2dvag.dll
Display Driver Version: 6.14.10.6764
Driver WHQL Certified: Yes
Max Texture Width : 2048
Max Texture Height: 2048
Max User Clipping Planes: 6
Max Active Hardware Lights: 8
Max Texture Blending Stages: 8
Textures In Single Pass: 8
Vertex Shader Version: 1.1
Pixel Shader Version: 1.4
Max Vertex Blend Matrices: 37
Max Texture Coordinates: 8
Vendor ID: 0x1002
Device ID: 0x5b60
Sub-System ID: 0x032a1043
Revision: 0x00

I have updated/reinstalled drivers, even unplugged the card and reinserted it, with no change. Anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks

Sounds bad. How would you check that? I'm not too clever when it comes to hardware

i googled the card and it seems to be shared and that is why it says you have no memory but it still makes a picture how much memory do you have?
