Ok so first off i`m back after liek months of being away. And i want/am thinking off getting this graphics card.
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?NOV-GF6225#
Yes i know i might aswell get new mobo etc, but since i am on a really low budget i am getting wither that one or this one:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?NOV-FX2128

My question is would they need more than 200W to work?/ how many watts do they need, as i only have a 200-260W PSU and don`t wanna upgrade.Yes i know i sound like a peasant lol like really poor but the truth is i am

So any help apprecaited and please don`t say get a new mobo.

Cheers

Carl

I've just had a look at some reviews. And the Geforce 6200 (including the rest of the system) consumes about 100W at idle, and around 160W at full loads. However I can't find any results for the Geforce FX5200, but I would assume it is fairly similar. So I would say you should be fine with a 200W unit.

Hey Dave where did ya see that one for same price?
As i`ve seen the 512 x1650 But it`s £42.30 and i`d have no idea how much wattage it`ll use and how much W PSU i`d need,it`s the worst bit about computers is the PSU, because i never know how much to use/need.And i was just thinking bout getting a PS2 and a cheappish graphics card that`ll play games in good enough graphics with no or hardly any lag.
Thanks thingie 2 i`ll probs just get that one.Cheap and cheerful
