My friend is having problems with the NVidia 8800 GTS 640 mb and alsmost everytime he plays a game he crashes after a while. The problem got fixed a little, but he still needs alot of help. only one or two of his games work.
He posted this problem and all the stuff that happened on another forum. Here is the link to the thread:

Well, i just wanted to show that the info was there, sorry. but anyway, he is crashing when he starts games for example, bf2142.

He gets a BSOD with Error code 1000007f, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 bab50d70, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

He's fixed the volatages, checked the compatibility, tried many driver, i'll post the list here if you ask, made sure the computer is cool enough, asked for help from the evga tech support in vain, RMed his card a few times, so know he is clueless as to what to do to fix the problem.

when i bought 2142 there were loads patches needed, hes got them all? and when u say crashes, does it crash to dektop, blue scrren etc etc? does it say missing packages on the game before it crashes?

No, he had all of them, but its all good now. he got it fixed yesterday (Finally X__x), so someone lock this thread r something xD
