Default Nvidia display drivers failing

well whenever i try play anything on my 8800 ultra on vista 64 bit it get display driver has recovered from an error is there any solution i have updated...

Do you have it Overclocked?
Usually says things like that with an unstable OC

I know theres been a problem with the 8800gt alpha dog and people clocked it down tp 600mhz and increased the fan rpm and that sorted there crashing cards, dont know if this will help you any m8

well i just played cod 4 happily at 1080p maxed out and yeh all whent well for half an hour until bam driver error, the temps were low 70's high 60's so heat wasn't an issue

also there is no way i am underclocking this! i purchased it at these speeds it should run stabily at these speeds

you should underclock it temporarily just to see if it works, and then go on from there.

it worked i just got the driver from majorgeeks which was the newest one on nvidias site they had the old one

well the problem is back even with the latest evga driver :(
i would pay for a fix
