Default Nvidia FX 5200 Off Screen Issue

Hi all - please bear with me, I'm not desperately PC literate:4-dontkno

I've got an nvidia fx 5200 - pretty old I know, but times are hard! I've recently updated the drivers as I was getting some problems with 3d images on some software - the update has resolved that, but now when I launch a game the bottom half is visible at the top of the screen and the top half has disappeared off the top.

I've searched dozens of forums to try and get a solution but they all seem to cover dual monitors, which I'm not set up for.

Anyone got any ideas?

Many thanks in advance

Alt-tab out, right click the game in the taskbar, hit Move, then use the arrow keys to move it to the right position. Or run the game in fullscreen.
