they are all sick but if u are using a big TV get something with most pixel pipelines ive heard. and it should be 320bit at least. thats the quality part. then clock speed is how fast it does everything. this is all what ive found out trying to find stuff out
hope it helped?

None of the card's quoted have pixel pipes. Stream shaders resident in DX10 cards have taken the place of pixel pipes and vertex shaders resident in DX9 cards.

For more info on this look at post #67 on the last page of this thread

If it was me I'd be going for the 8800GT. Not just on a performance related basis but on a bang-for-buck basis as well.

Have a look at the benchmarks SocialWarfare posted in this thread in post #128.

But please take into account what resolution you're going to be gaming at regardless of the card you choose. At 1280x1024/1440x900 any of the cards you quoted will be wasted.

I'm assuming you're after a DX10 card after seeing the one's you quoted.

At that resolution the best card you'll need is a 8600GTS. You'll be future proofed as well for up and coming titles.

But should you change your monitor for a 17-19" in the future you'll still be covered with that card as it will work just as well with more pixels upto that resolution.

The cards quoted initially in your first post are massive overkill for 1024x768.
