Pc tv conection problems, please help!!

ok i have a sony vaio (vgc-v2m) which is like a mac (compact pc) its has a nvidia geforce fx go 5700 128mb
i want to connect my pc to my tv which has 15 pin d sub vga connector on the back of it it also has s video 2 scart and 2 hdmi
my pc only has s video,audio and video outputs is there any way this is possible, ie buying a new graphics card, or certain cables???

any help on this matter will be greatly appeciated.

Shop around you can probably get one much cheaper, maybe try eBay.

yeah ive tried that i have a 2 svideo cable into a scart and my tv only displays a blank screen, ive tried moving a window across to the tv, still nothing happening, :(
i've been on my display setting and its only showing one monitor, which is a plug and play monitor?

like funct F7 or whatever

I had a similar problem to yours a few years back, cant remember exactly how I fixed it but I know it was something to do with the settings in the nvidia control panel, were I had to change to format from ntsc to pal or the other way around
Its got to worth a look anyway;)

ok cool, ill check that out and see what i can do altho all im getting up in my settings is overlay controls and colour correction?

hmm just found this don't know if it'll help but in device manager, under display adapters there is no list for secondary display adapter???

cheers for the nvidea forums have been reading them for some time now, still not getting any closer, ahhh n i thought it would be nice n simple, foolish thought,

ok so if any one can help or any more advice maybe installing a certain driver or like a component video to vga lead ...if they exsist???
