Get a s-video to scart lead like this:

http://www.hificables.co.uk/ProductD...7-c7cfeb2c831a

Shop around you can probably get one much cheaper, maybe try eBay.

I had a similar problem to yours a few years back, cant remember exactly how I fixed it but I know it was something to do with the settings in the nvidia control panel, were I had to change to format from ntsc to pal or the other way around
Its got to worth a look anyway;)

Default pc tv conection problems, please help!!

ive been reading this on nvidea forum and this sounds pretty much like my case ....
Now it's been totally resolved by updating the drivers to 7.1.8.4 from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com, and checking that the tv accepted s-video input; one of them didn't so I had to use a s-vid/composite adapter to make it show colour. TVtool is no longer necessary but still quite cool.

ive been on that site but can't find that driver, as i also dont reli know what the 7.1.8.4 means, so any help would be cool and maybe my problem sorted out aswell?!?!?!:):)
cheers

It means if you have a Nvidia graphics card goto the Nvidia website and get the latest drivers.

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card?

If you have a Nvidia graphics card you could also try adjusting the settings in Nview.

The Nview software can be found in control panel in Windows.

You do not have a Nvidia graphics card.

Try contacting Sony to find out what you do have and if what you want to do can be done at all.
