Default Pc to tv screen?

wot would i need to use a tv instead of a monitor? say 40'' screen on the tv is it just a simple case of a special cable? also would i need a new graphics card as screen size is way more than 800/900 reason why i ask is pc ...

if the tv you are gunna use is a lcd it will have a pc input connector or dvi connector, get the appropriate cable, plug it in and bobs your uncle

depends on your current graphics card as to if you need a new one, atm i am running my 20 inch phillips lcd off of the intel graphics chipset at 1280x768

unfortunately its not flat panel its tube i would love a flat panel thouh ..also my graphics card is a G-force 256mb sorry but i cant remember the model at the min.. it as a dvi out i think its called-i have to use a connector in order to connect a monitor ti it.also you can connect 2 monitors 2 it if this makes eney difference.
