I'm not sure if it will, one site that came up when I googled said there wasn't room in the Compaq DC7100 for a full sized PCI-E graphics card, however that card might be small enough, I'm not sure. So you need to open up your case and do two things:
1)check to see if there are any PCI-E slots on the motherboard, they look a bit like this: (the one at the top)

2) measure how much room you have in the case around that slot (from the rear of the case till it hits drives etc, and from side to side, then check with the dimensions of the card you want, and see if it will fit.

Just go with my post first, we can sort the PCI-E version later, first we need to check it has one.

Hey sorry i took so long. Yes the slot looks like the top one in your pic and there is 10cm space from slot to drives.
When you say measure side to side what am i measuring up to, the next slot?
According to info i have read on the net about my mobo apparently i only have space for low profile/half height cards.
So do you think the link i posted is the right one for me?

Could you take a picture so we can see how big a card you can fit please? It's will make it easier than describing.
