Ok here's my problem. I'm currently using a Viewsonic VP2130b monitor which is superb, but isn't the best for playing back HD captured footage. I beleive this is due to the refresh rate set at 60Hz at its native resolution of 1600x1200. Because I shoot HD video at 50i (25fps interlaced) unless I have a refresh rate that can suit this frame rate I get a slight jitter especially on pan shots. I've played the footage back on an older 19" LCD which has a refresh rate of 75Hz and everything is much smoother.

So, I'm now looking for a good LCD monitor which will suit HD playback (Mpeg files)but also be of good quality (oh and its got to be black, I'm not loving the silver look). I'd like to have widescreen, although its not essential. 19"-20" would suit me ok.

If anyone could give me a little advice I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Mark
