This is a great forum!!!
I just bought a new Dell latitude D600 laptop with XP Pro. Is it possible to hook any monitor up to it and use it as a 2nd screen or just another monitor and have it project the laptop screen on it(just make it bigger)? I went and plugged in a really old(one of the big bulky monitors) into the back and nothing changed. Is it a problem with the laptop or was it the old monitor? Here is a picture of the settings tab with nothing plugged into it.

In control panel can you see a NView icon?

The icons are alphabetical.
If you have Nvidia graphics it will be in there somewhere. |

Yeah, providing it has the correct plug that matches the output on your laptop (probably VGA).
Boot with it plugged in and it should show up in that panel you posted a photo of. |
