Short story behind my problem:
About a year ago my screen stopped working, so I took it down to the store, I bought it in and asked if they could look at it. When I look back at that day, I can see that he probably to quickly said that it wasn't worth looking into. (he said it before I had even explained the problem in detail). but that day I believed him and I bought the screen to 2500 as he advised. Now a year later it has come to my attention, that the store often cheats customers. It simply to small to survive so it takes overprices and advises people to buy things they don't really need, so I wanna see if I (with you help) can take a look at it. THE PROBLEM: Anyway: The problem is that when I turn on the monitor it just comes up with a color picture: This is how it looks when plugged into a turned on computer: ![]() INFO: It is a "fujitsu siemens scaleoview W19-1". anyone who can tell me the problem??? |

It looks like a bad connection, easiest point of call would be the cable, then the sockets on both the monitor (some dont have a socket, but simply go straight in, although this is mainly only CRT screens)
Can you have a look to see if theres anything like bent or missing pins etc.? If unsure just attach pictures of: Both ends of cable connecting it to your PC Monitor's video input PC's video output Also have you changed anything recently, such as putting it through DVI instead of VGA, or changing cable, or anything at all?
