ok so a few days ago i thought it would be a good idea to get the newest Graphics drivers (having reinstalled windows and all) but when i did that, every thing was funky, the drivers would shut down then be recovered, and I even got a BSOD twice!
So i went back and downloaded all the drivers and found that only the 179.28, 179.48 that worked (although i didnt test all of them, .48 was all i got to before the next driver would not work.) So is there a fix for this? I googled and found that nVidia seems to be in a bit of trouble when it comes to Vista. A fix would be nice, as my computer is returning to its normal self of gaming. Thanks!!! |

the latest driver for the 9650M GT is: 186.81. But the website says that the INF for that driver could not be found

You should just use the most recent and try to see if they work, I'm using 190.xx something on my old XPS laptop (7800GTX) and it does

Are you sure you're downloading the drivers from http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/noteb...1_whql_uk.html
And that they completely download before you run the installer? |
