Default Problem with screen driving me mad! pls help!

i have 3 different issues:
1) i have a horizontal line running accross top of screen (it disappears if i gently press on screen casing but reappears after a few seconds) - this i can cope with if there's no fix as its at the top and doesn't affect viewing
2) sometimes the screen freezes and gradually turns white - i have to jog/tap the screen casing to make it stop
3) sometimes the screen goes black and has vertical lines of colour running through it - i have to tilt the screen backwards and forwards until it works.
while these are manageable at the moment i don't want to leave it until it becomes a permanent thing and my laptop is rendered useless! pls help!

Photo would probably help, that said laptop screens go often and are normally hardware related and beyond economical repair, laptops (hardware wise) are cheaper to buy than repair these days.

If it's still within warranty I would send it back, it sounds like that sort of a problem, and with it being a laptop, it will be very hard, if not impossible, to fix yourself. But also, like Dave said, photos would be useful.
