I know this isnt cutting edge for you guys, but have had to get a new (second hand) computer for my daughter as other one died. it has a intel d915gag motherboard. I was going to fit the gforce graphics card. Am i right in thinking its better than the Radeon X300SE thats in there.

Sorry for other post got all the info wrong

The GeForce is slightly better but both are going to perform dismally for anything modern. We are talking low-end cards from 2005 here.

I know but pc isn't cutting edge either. Has intel d915gag 3ghz. one card is in it and the other is out of a broken one. just running the best I can on a budget (3rd PC) Not worth paying out for much else on it.

So out of the two the G-force?

Yes but the difference was so minor back in 2005 much less now that it's probably not worth the hassle.
