Default replacement monitor ac adapter

hi ho !

I currently have a logik LCX27WN2:

and it keeps switching itself off whilst i'm watching it, if i whack the ac adaptor on it it comes back on.

its current ac adaptor is a Delta Electronics ADP-150BB B:

i dont want to shell out for this as its over a ton. so i found a sanyo adapter with a similar spec, with the output current being different, however will this make a different or not ? heres the Sanyo PSU Adaptor AC/DC 5830mA 12v

the spec for the current adapter is:

Input voltage 100-240v 50/60Hz 1.8A

Output voltage 12v
Output current 12.5Amp
4pin DIN DC-Plug Round

Output cable length 160mm
Input Socket IEC

Size L=168mm x W=84mm x D=40mm

the spec for the sanyo 1:

Input voltage 100-240v 50/60Hz 1.8A

Output voltage 12v
Output current 5000mA max
Output connector DC (Mini Din 4-pin Plug 2/4=(+) 1/3=(-)

Output cable length 1.5m
Input Socket Fig8

Size L=134mm x W=59mm x D=30mm

would the sanyo be an ok replacement or not ?

cheers

Default replacement monitor ac adapter

A new adaptor will need to be the exact spec of the old one.
