Default Samsung 226BW calibration

Hi Recently bought a Samsung 226BW LCD monitor and I am wondering if there is anyone who knows the optimum settings for this monitor. I need to set the color profile and contrast brightness etc etc what is the best way to achieve this?...

Pressing the MagicBright control button. Several times, if that improves matters.

If I were configuring one for linux I'd put the following parameters into xorg.conf

HorizSync 30 - 81.0
VertRefresh 56 - 75
Subsection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1680x1050"
EndSubsection

In Windows the driver does that, and the Adapter/Monitor combination needs setting to 1680x1050 24bit colour 60Hz refresh rate. Anything else will reduce the quality of the display.
