VPU Recover only happens when the Graphics card crashes due to a program that is eating up the VPU power until it cannot do anything. Then the VPU recover kicks in. So it must be a program that is causing it

What power supply do you have? It could be caused by the graphics card not having enough power to run correctly.

I actually meant what power supply has the original poster got! It's entirely possible that the graphics card may be damanding more power than his psu can supply. I only have an eye-t 450watt psu but then my system isnt that powerful. Not enough power could certainly cause a gpu recovery, and so could too much heat.
