I have a 22" x2gen monitor
My WindowsXP and Windows7 wont rekognize it. They say the highest Res. is 1600x1200 which it isnt I tried installing my nVidia drivers, they woudlnt work on Windows7 but it worked on WindowsXP and it still didn't work Any help??? Also; i have a 7600GT EVGA |

i wouldnt worry about it. the computer doesnt recognize the monitor, just set the resolution at the native of the monitor, which is 1680 x 1050 according to the specs.

thats the problem. It doesn't show up.. it has every res possible except that one

so on XP do you have the latest video drivers? sure they are for xp?

Uninstall and re-install, might fix the problem. If not, you might have to turn off the option for hiding video modes the monitor cannot display.

Sounds like it's the monitor's problem. Do you have another video card to try this?

Are you sure that the video card can display that resolution. Everyone seems to thing something is wrong with the monitor and forgetting that not all video cards can display all resolutions regardless of the monitor connected.
