Default Screen resolution out of range

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo computer and I have just installed a new graphics card. Unfortunately, while I was adjusting the screen settings, I can no longer get my screen to come on. The message I get is " Screen resolution out of range". In the manual it tells you to adjust the settings. Fine, but I cannot adjust the settings because I cannot get on to do it. Does any body know how you get round this?? Many thanks

Default Screen resolution out of range

You need to boot into safe mode and turn the settings down.

You can do so by repeatedly pressing F8 after turning on your PC.
