Default Should I wait for the 8900GTX

Hi, I am going to buy the 728MB BFG PCI-Express GF 8800GTX next october with the following specs as stated below;

Motherboard - Asus Blitz Formula SE iP35
C.P.U. - Intel Core2Quad Q6600
R.A.M. - Corsair TwinX XMS2 Dominator PC8500 (1066Mhz)
Video-card - 728MB BFG PCI-Express GF 8800GTX
Speakers - Logitech X540 5.1 Surround Speakers
Hard-Disk - 2* 500GB 7200rpm - Seagate SATA2
Power Supply - Enermax Galaxy 1000W
Optical Drive - Pioneer DVR-212 18x Black Dual Layer
U.P.S. - 1400VA Centralion Blazer Line Interactive
Windows - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (OEM)
Network - Edimax 54G Wireless USB Adaptor
Case - ThermalTake Kandalf
Keyboard and Mouse - Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000
Monitor - Samsung 226BW

So my question is shall I wait untill the 8900GTX and the 8950GTX are out or should I go with the 8800GTX? Also does anyone know anything about the newest graphic-cards and how they are compared with the 8800GTX? Also would they be better then the 8800GTX? And when they would be available and at what price?

The only thing that I have found out is that there would be the 8950 GX2 and that the cards would have a better shadder and more quality with regards to pixel.

Hope someone could advice me on this.

Right now I got an XFX5700 256mb. It is quite old but it is on the old pc that's why.

Now I am going to buy a new PC and would like to buy the top of the top and thus I do not whether to wait or just by the 8800GTX.

You might be waiting a long time for the 8900GTX.
In the world of PC hardware if you wait for the next "big thing" you will never buy anything.

You can play the waiting game forever. Especially on gpu's (if you're a gamer).

Buy now and enjoy.

So, from what I could see, the PhysX card is not incorporated in the 8800GTX but that the 8800GTX has the capabilieties of achieveing that kind of stuff. So I will buy that card and not buying the PhysX card (eventhough I was not willing to get one). With regards to the 8900GTX, I think that I will not wait. As Krlll and alex said it is like a game of never ending path, i.e. noone knows the exact date of when the card would be out. Eventhough I searched the web and found out that it would cost 550 dollars and that the 8950GX2 will cost 599 dollars which are not that expencive. So I think that I would upgrade afterwards.
