I have to use an external monitor on my HP pavillion 6000. I don't know what option was chosen in the display options, but when windows starts and runs, I have no desk top, icons, background, or anything, but the mouse cursor is there. I can start and run in ...

Smooth move
I have to use an external monitor on my HP pavillion 6000. I don't know what option was chosen in the display options, but when windows starts and runs, I have no desk top, icons, background, or anything, but the mouse cursor is there. I can start and run in safe mode with no display problems. I was going to try and restore to earlier date.
Am I even close to the right track? I hope this went to the right place as well!!! |

Smooth move
Errr, go into the display settings in control panel and switch the primary monitor to your laptop screen, should sort it out =)
