For the past few weeks I've noticed white squiggles showing up while I watch video files. This occurs whether I'm watching YouTube clips or .avi files in WMP or VLC, so I don't think it's the player.
They look like the snake from the old video game "snake" except there are a bunch of them and they're small, but just moving around. They only appear when there is black on the video screen, and only in the black space. They're very noticeable. I upgraded my video card a few months ago, but it worked fine until this problem only started recently. |

You could try updating your graphics card drivers
