my tft doesn't seem to be showing black... :S

If looks all, well, liney and white and not "normal" - is it broke?

I plugged it into my eeepc and it was also not showing black there, so it can't be my graphics card.

Any ideas or solutions?

Ollie is right, the problem with computer is a problem can be caused by the littlest of things or the biggest of things, you never really know until you have tried all your options.

Try checking the connection to your Graphics card, make sure the screws on the VGA or DVI input from the monitor are screwed in nice and tight ( but not to tight! )
