hi just read about the Asus EAH3850 X3 Trinity, seen the world’s first benchmarks of triple-GPU card and im not very impressed to say the least, doesnt seem to be 3x times faster than a norm ( single gpu) 3850 or even twice as fast, looks like we still will ...

Nothing to do with it. Multi-GPU is inherently not efficient. This is why a properly OC'd 8800GT can get similar performance to simply SLI-ing another one.
