I have a Asus-A7v8x-x mother board that i use for my son and the video card is not working well, does any one know which would be the best agp card for this mother board, my power supply is only 300 watts and i would upgrade it if nessecary. I have 1 gig memory running windows xp. thanks for the help

Very good questions , sorry about that. I dont really have a budget becasue i know agp cards aren't that expense anymore. but it will be for gaming only some of the games i play are high end graphics and my sons computer cant handle them, so i would be looking for something good. unless you feel a barebones is a better way to go and i can just swap out the stuff i have there. (barebones with video card).

processor 2 gig , video card in there now is a leadtek GF FX5950 ultra 256, not sure about the hard drive probable 30 gig. memory is 2 crosair cmx 512 3700. the mother board specs show that it can support 3gigs of non ECC pc 3200/2700/2100/1600 ddr dimms, and up to 8x AGP. hope this helps. thanks for the quick reply also
