My current system is as follows:
Foxconn K8M890M2MA-R2SH AMD 64 X2 5200 2.7ghz 2GB DDR2 RAM Radeon X1600 Pro 256MB PCI-E 40 GB IDE Internal HD 250 GB External USB HD VGA LCD Monitor (Default Resolution 1024 X 768) I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card to a Palit ATI Radeon HD 4670 Super! 512MB PCI-E which I can get pretty cheap now. I'm just wondering: Will it work with my system? Is it worth the uprgrade? Will I see a major increase in gaming performance? (I want to be able to play new games) Is there anything dodgy about the card I should know before I buy it? I know it takes up two outer case slots (for the extra sockets) but that shouldn't be a problem right? (Considering I have no other cards in the motherboard as everything else is onboard) Please any help would be appreciated. |

The 4830 is a much better upgrade. At that res you will also be bottlenecked by the CPU so it may not be as big of jump as you think.
