Default Vga to scart computer screen display?

Just wanna know if a computer will display from VGA to Scart. VGA of the computer and Scart from the TV. I know VGA to VGA and HD to HD and DVI will work but will scart display a computer output?...

Theoretically yes.

But a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) with Scart input will not. The pixels are totally different, and the signal cannot be displayed.

However a more modern TFT, LCD, Plasma, or LED TV, with a scart input should do just fine.

spot on mate.. i also tried a diy kit.. bad picture you are best using an s-video lead if your graphics card supports that.. but i found with this the picture quality still was not great
